Planning to go down to Europe and shop for some building materials. Among others to Poland. Specifically looking for insulation. Rock wool/glass wool.
What I've noticed is that they seem to spec their insulation according to sawn timber instead of planed as in Sweden. That is, 50 mm instead of 45 mm, 200 mm instead of 195 mm. Has anyone bought insulation from Poland and installed it with Swedish "building dimensions" on studs, etc.? Has it worked well?
Then it seems their standard panel size is 1250 mm compared to our 1200 mm (1197 mm). Has anyone found dimensions that match ours?
