I'm sketching lightly on an Attefall, where I'm toying with the idea of having a deck/terrace on the roof. What kind of joists would you use in the frame for this project? Is 45x120 with a spacing of 60cm okay?
What is the most critical moment?

What?
The problem isn't the dimensions in the walls, but the roof beams. Were you planning to build an arch, like an old church?

Expanded a bit and the span was 540, didn't have space for more than 220 in height, that wasn't enough, so it had to be a support beam. Looking at Moelven's dimension calculation support, the smallest Kerto option becomes KERTO-S 45x300. That's for a floor indoors without snow load, etc..... 45x120 probably barely supports the roof without anything on top, so with that span, you shouldn't guess but consult an engineer...
What dimensions would you have for the studs in the wall?
EDIT; A structural engineer might not be a bad idea! You don't want it to end up like the houseboat in Malmö that capsized with too many people on deck..!
I've never hired one before, but can they be found by searching for the term Structural engineer? But I'm just playing around with the idea for now.
