Planning to tear down a "load-bearing" wall and support it with a suitable beam mounted on 2x 90mm glulam posts. The wall is most likely not load-bearing itself, but there is a ceiling beam running along the wall, and the ceiling beams from the other part of the house rest on this. The wall is reinforced in the crawl space with a continuous wall. The section of the wall to be demolished is 290cm long, and should therefore support the beam running along with + 2 beams from the other part of the house.

The neighbor has demolished the same wall but took down the entire wall. They supported it with an IPE200 beam, which seems oversized for the small section I intend to demolish. Exterior roof with tar paper and 20-degree pitch.

Unfortunately, I don't have the dimensions of the existing ceiling beams (CC 120). Snow zone: 1.5.

Can anyone calculate what type of beam would be required to support this with the given information? Preferably a glulam beam.

Grateful for any help! The parts marked in red and purple are ceiling beams, and the section circled is the part of the wall intended to be demolished.

The wall is probably load-bearing. It should bear the roof trusses' load from the house part where the living room is located. You can enter your values into this program and select opening in exterior wall for a one-story house.
