Hi,

The plaster on old plastered interior walls tends to crumble over time. But is the plaster used nowadays a different type that lasts better? Or should one also expect that walls plastered now with "modern" plaster will become porous in 30-40 years or so?

And finally, if you are going to repair a hole that is about 10x10x20 cm in a plastered concrete interior wall, is it suitable to use plaster (and if so, which type)? Is it possible to use concrete or household repair mix instead? What are the pros and cons of each material?

Thank you in advance!
