I have now received a package with slip pads from 50 to 3000 from Tyrolit Polistar. I am planning to start sanding my outdoor kitchen, but the question when sanding is, how long should you sand with each pad?

  • Outdoor concrete kitchen countertop under construction, with wooden blocks on top, set against a background of wooden slats.
Until you have an even belt formation start with 50 at low speed gradually increase it may be an advantage to sand with water on the first steps

Now I have finished sanding and also applied concrete lacquer twice as a dust binder, I'll wait about 24 hours to apply 2 layers of topcoat. But now after all the sanding, I've noticed there are quite a few small holes here and there. What are some ways to get rid of them? Is there a clear epoxy for outdoor use? Or are there other types of materials to seal them? Grateful for any tips.

  • A polished concrete surface with small pits and a sheen from two layers of sealer, surrounded by a railing and greenery in the background.
Avoid epoxy, it is not UV resistant.

Is there any other way besides using spackle?
Can you use soft sealant or silicone?

No, we have used acrylic filler.
