Deck in front/above basement window
Sitting and trying to find something similar online but no luck.
I'm planning to build a ground-level or slightly above-ground deck. The problem is that we have two basement windows located below ground level in dug-out "pockets" of 80x60cm. I would like the deck to go right up to the facade, but how do you create a good compromise between the deck's aesthetics and continued light entry through the basement windows?
All tips are greatly appreciated!

A laundry room. I find the light quite nice.ingemar_o said:
Regarding glass, I like the idea. It could look nice to embed in the floor. What kind of glass do you use? Expensive as hell, I guess?
Weld a frame and build with glass block bricks?
