Hello.
I have a laminate countertop that needs cutting. I have a jigsaw with C-type jigsaw blades. No matter how I try to cut, the cut isn't straight. In other words, it cuts at an angle and very wavy. Either the jigsaw blade is too flimsy, or I'm doing something else wrong. I'm cutting with the backside facing up.

Can you recommend a jigsaw blade for me to use with a C-type adapted for a laminate countertop about 3.6 cm thick? The machine has about 350 watts.

You need a circular saw to get a nice cut.
With a jigsaw freehand, it will be crooked.

A plunge saw with a guide rail if you want a neat result..

If you're going to work with what you have, then fasten a plank as a guide and then let the saw do the work, i.e. apply very little pressure. I have personally used metal blades when I want straight cuts in hard boards.
