Hello everyone! I am going to build a straight, simple indoor staircase and plan to make notches for the steps in the stringers without routing, by first sawing grooves using a suitable mini circular saw where the steps will sit (and a bit of fine work with a chisel or similar), and then hollowing out the notches by hand with a chisel.
What I'm wondering is if anyone here has experience with the mini circular saw from Bosch called PKS 16 Multi, or if there's a better/more suitable one for making the grooves I need before I can start on the handwork of hollowing out the staircase stringers? The saw seems good for me since I also need to find a tool that can be used for fine work with tiles and ceramics.
Anyone with opinions and experience, either with the saw or, of course, with building stairs, I'm all ears...
