I am going to move a door, create an opening in another wall, and I assumed it was particle board on the wall which I would cut with a circular saw. It turns out now that there are plasterboards on the walls, and it doesn't feel like a circular saw is the best tool for this job. Jigsaw, a simple handheld drywall saw? What is the best solution? It's about 24 meters to cut. Thanks

An old handsaw works.
Or a fein-saw (multi-tool)

A circular saw works, but it produces a lot of dust if you don't have good dust collection. However, 24 meters is quite a long distance to cut with both a handsaw and a multicutter...

If dust isn't a problem, I would use a circular saw, put on a respirator, and just go for it.

Hello,
Thank you for your responses, I will buy a plaster saw at Jula tomorrow and also try with a hand saw and jigsaw to see what works best and creates the least dust. Thanks for your input.

Borrowed a Makita drywall saw from the electrician, worked superbly.
