Hello!

Not sure if this is the right section but couldn't find a more suitable one. Renovation in the laundry room is underway. I have four old pipes that mixers and more have been attached to, which are coming out of the wall. These need to be removed because new pipes will be drawn from the boiler room that is next door. These old pipes stick out a little bit as you can see.

How on earth :) do I go about cutting these so that they come a bit inside the wall level so I can fill the pipe holes with putty before tiling?

See picture.

Any tips make me happy :)

Angle grinder?
Reciprocating saw?
Or rather, pull them out completely...
