Hello!

We have a couple of pipes that aren't particularly nicely done in our house. The pipes go to the radiator, and we would like to cover them at the wall with a pipe cover plate. The problem is that the outermost pipe extends too far to fit with the covers I've found.

Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to cut the pipes, or alternatively can link to a slightly deeper cover plate? I've tried using a hacksaw on the upper pipe and it worked somewhat, but it's much more difficult to reach the lower one.

Thanks in advance!

  • Radiator pipes protruding from a wall, showing rough cutouts and unsightly installation, needing covering with pipe collars.
Suggest a visit to a plumbing store or alternatively a larger hardware store. It can reasonably both provide answers on how to appropriately do it, and additionally sell what you need.

Saw, it's just plastic?
Two Kron Stiletto saw blades, one for metal and one for wood, with a black handle, used for cutting materials like plastic. A small hand saw with a black ergonomic handle and a thin metal blade, used for cutting materials like plastic.
