Cut off the decking one or two decking boards wide, place a new support under the decking to hold it up.
- replace the entire panel and then you can fill the gap with one or two longitudinal decking boards along the garage.

I don't think it will be much more work, and it will be done properly.
But the problem is that there is a board that is fixed against the wall that I can't remove. It functions as a frame.

Yes, then you need to build some relieving supports/pillars for the beams. I placed a lump of concrete at the bottom on the ground and built up with concrete slabs to the height needed to support the beam.

Hi
reviving an old thread.
I am in exactly the same situation, see the picture I attached.

Are there pictures of the final result from this thread? Was it distans or dropbleck?

  • Wooden deck next to a white vertical paneled wall, possibly inquiring about spacing or drip edge solutions for a construction project.

I cheated. I cut the boards next to the wall and cut the facade boards, replaced them, and then laid a board back along.

Okay, no flashing behind the new facade over the deck?
