Hello!
Can you cut 5 cm off the length of lecablock? With what and how time-consuming is it? It's about 10 blocks.

I would need 15 cm high, but no building supply stores have other heights than 19.

Thanks in advance!

  • Concrete blocks on a pallet, close-up view. The blocks have a coarse, textured surface. Discussing resizing options for construction purposes.
Concrete saw. Takes probably a few minutes per block.

Thank you for the answer! Have you also tried with a reciprocating saw? Wondering what is easiest/fastest...

That is the width. Need one that is 150 high and 290 wide.

I trace with an angle grinder and split with an axe, quickly easily cheaply if it's only ten stone

I have only tried a little with a reciprocating saw but with the "wrong" type of blade. It didn't work very well as the blade was a bit short and flimsy. I can imagine that with a long and stiff blade intended for leca it would go better.

The tip from fribygg with an angle grinder and axe sounds convenient.

There are reciprocating saw blades specifically designed for that.
