How do I best cut an IKEA 38mm laminate countertop if I want to minimize the risk of chipping the laminate layer?
Should the countertop be upside down?
Tape the area around the cut before sawing?
I plan to use a new Makita SP6000J plunge saw with the accompanying rail.
back side up and start from the edge of the board that will be visible, practice sawing a bit off the board first and make sure the board is on a stable surface when you saw
