Creating a Neat Finish Against the Floor Without Skirting Boards.

We are in the final stage of renovating the living room. I dislike all types of moldings and wonder if there is a way to create a neat finish against the floor without making major modifications? Unfortunately, tearing down and installing new gypsum is not an option.

Cut/saw off the plasterboard a few centimeters up from the floor and attach a j13 trim to the plasterboard. This will give a nice finish
