Yes, I understand that there is probably some difference in quality, but there has to be a limit!!

Not as big a price difference but still. PL400, a tube at byggmax, 58.95 SEK. Identical tube PL400 at XL-bygg in Terp 119 SEK. Unfortunately, I have to shop at XL-bygg sometimes because they are local but their prices on certain items are completely crazy. To their defense, I might have to add that on some other items the difference is very small.
I shop a lot at Beijer because it's around the corner. But you have to check the prices all the time, often it feels like they must have calculated wrong... Then there are other things that are clearly competitively priced. They also have a great selection.
You can't deny that Byggmax is insanely cheap. Unfortunately, the nearest one is quite far away...

Took an unofficial quote from Beijer on various building materials, with a 15% discount it ended up at around 37000:-, compared with Byggmax, just under 30000 without discount. So Beijer is generally more expensive when I have compared prices.
It's the same for me. I cycle past Beijer on my way home from work, and in this case, I stopped by because I only needed this bend. I didn't buy it since I knew Byggmax's price. What happens now is that I have to drive 4 km to Byggmax, and then, including the cost of gas, lose on the deal. Hmm, I need to find other things to buy at the same time to justify my behavior.Larsa said:I shop a lot at Beijer because it’s around the corner. In this case, Beijer seems to be quite a bit above the wholesalers' imaginative price lists. I guess that since this is not a product category that Beijer sells much of, they have compensated for this with crazy pricing, which results in them selling even less...
