Hi, unfortunately, it seems the wood stove was overfired while the house was rented. The wood stove is installed according to all the rules with heat-resistant fiber cement boards, but there are large cracks on one side. Should I just repair the cracks, or could the construction be affected? Has anyone seen anything similar?

how is it done? In one picture it looks like you can see an edge on a disc further down? Is it just discs on and plastered?
