Hello!

I'm working on fixing the floor in the apartment. I've removed the click flooring and the plastic mat underneath. Now only the subfloor is left, which I plan to fix. During the demolition, I didn't think much about whether there might be asbestos since the association's maintenance plan stated that it was probably removed in the '80s. At that time, major renovations were carried out, including facade refurbishment, roof replacement, new balconies, new windows and balcony doors, pipe and electrical stack replacement, new ventilation system. The maintenance plan also states that if any remains, it's at pipe bends, sealants, etc. I started thinking about the insulation I noticed at the radiator pipes and that some concrete has detached at a heating pipe and am wondering if this might contain asbestos. What do you think? Attached is a picture.

Thanks in advance!
Old floor with exposed wood and crumbled concrete near a radiator pipe, potentially containing asbestos, during a renovation project in an apartment.
Pipe with insulation material near exposed concrete on a wooden floor, possibly indicating asbestos presence.

May be under, looks like it is painted on something they did before, a gauze outside the substrate,

Hello and welcome to the forum!

It's not possible to tell if something contains asbestos from a photo, so either the association knows or you need to submit a sample for analysis.

Thanks for the answers! It will probably proceed in some way.
