Hello,

During the inspection, moisture damage was detected under a window with faulty window sills. An area, > 30*60 cm, shows elevated values. The inspector recommends a structural intervention to dry out and see if insulation and studs may need replacing.

I'm thinking this should cost around 30,000:- with the help of craftsmen. Could that be reasonable?

I think 30000 seems completely unreasonable. It's not a difficult or large job. The house will likely remain until spring, and then we can start looking at what needs to be done. Unfortunately, I have no experience with what prices craftsmen charge, since I've issued a craftsman ban at home.

I would almost take on the task of doing the job for you for 30000, even if it means I need to take time off from my regular job...
