I remember seeing corners joined, such as window frames and drawers, using a wavy metal piece that is hammered into the wood. Roughly the size of an old-fashioned razor blade. Do these still exist, and what are they called if so?
Might be called Spikbleck? Usually found in small bags at the hardware store.
