We have just bought a house and the previous owner has painted a feature wall in the bedroom. The result is subpar. They hardly used masking tape or anything to make it even. While waiting for a proper renovation, we want to cover the corners to avoid seeing the paint splatter. The closest thing that comes to mind is something like quarter round. However, since all hardware stores have these under the flooring category, I wonder if what I’m looking for goes by a different name. The corners are not protruding corners but rather internal wall-to-wall, so to speak.

I say the same quarter round.

Quarter round is probably the first thing that comes to mind. But you can use cove molding, smyglist, shadow molding... It's just a matter of choice.

It doesn't really matter where you store the moldings at the hardware store, a quarter round/quarter molding is the same whether you nail it along a floor or a wall.
