I have a bay window in the living room of the apartment whose both corners I would like to cover with a corner molding. The problem is that I also want a baseboard, and I'm not quite sure how to get two pieces of baseboard (on either side of the corner) and the corner molding to fit together nicely.

The baseboard is Antiksockel Klara from Moelven, 95 mm high and 15 mm thick.
The corner molding is also Moelven, 43*43 mm.

If the corner molding goes all the way down to the floor, there will be an ugly gap where it meets the baseboard on both sides of the corner. The baseboard is 15 mm thick, and the corner molding maybe 7 mm.
If the baseboard meets at the corner instead, the corner molding will end awkwardly "above" the baseboard – they don't blend well together.
A third solution is to make a custom block to fit: 60*60 mm and about 100 mm high. Then I don't have to miter cut the baseboards, and the corner molding ends naturally. But will it look good?

Install the baseboards in the usual way and bevel the end of the corner molding so its thickness better matches the top edge of the baseboard.
It might not be perfect, but it will be less ugly at least.

Corner block might also work.
