Hello. I have a conservatory right next to the house with a concrete slab and no insulation at all.
Now I am thinking of tearing it down and building a proper room connected to the house instead.
The concrete slab on which I plan to build is now about 30cm below the house so to speak.
My question is, how should I insulate against the concrete slab?
Best regards

I would have insulated with cellplast and laid a floating floor on top of it. If you want tiles, you can also use leveling compound on top of this. It also works with underfloor heating.

Do you mean self-leveling compound then?

When I say floating floor, it means one that is not nailed or glued but can move freely.

By self-leveling, I mean self-leveling compound of course.
