Hello,

I am working on the construction of a machine hall/garage 8.4x19.2 m. The building will be divided into two parts where about 8.4 m of the length will be a "regular" double garage with a loft/upper floor using truss rafters, and the remaining part will be a "hall" with open to the ridge using scissor trusses. This has been the original idea for a long time, but I'm starting to lean towards using scissor trusses for the entire building and building the upper floor with intermediate flooring and construction lumber. What that means is having a dividing wall in the double garage, but since I have the hall with about 90 m2 of open space, maybe it's not a big issue. How would you reason? The advantage of constructing the intermediate flooring independently of the trusses is that I can be more flexible with the heights.

Kind regards,

Johan
