I have now reached the point of laying out the floor in such a prefab shed from Bauhaus. It will neither be insulated nor heated.
The shed stands on slabs and a gravel bed. I was considering treating the underside of the floor against moisture to make it last longer. Then I found a roll of building foil and came up with the brilliant(?!?!?) idea of laying it under the floor. This might also help keep out insects and other things coming up through gaps and loosening twigs, etc.
Is this completely crazy, or does it not really matter? The last thing I want is for moisture to collect between the plastic and the raw floorboards, shortening the floor's lifespan.
