Where can you buy connectors for square profiles?2017.10.7_16.25.31_4127.jpg

It would be useful to have these to quickly create frame constructions from square tubes without welding or as a prototype before welding. Or to be able to adjust the construction for different purposes. The connectors should preferably be unpainted and have threaded holes for screws to lock the tubes in place. Preferably something other than just right angles (e.g., 45°).

I'm looking for something that only requires me to cut the tubes, assemble the parts, and lock them with screws.

I haven't searched on foreign sites yet.

Seems to be the same type of connections that are used for coverings for boats, I bought them but they were in dimensions like joists, available according to searches in stores, but whether they are for round or square is hard to predict.

Actually saw something that seems promising. 1219_0.jpg 1220_0__rc02.jpg 1223_0.jpg Although aluminum, it should fit over regular 40 mm x 40 mm (or 25 mm x 25 mm) square steel tubes that can be bought almost anywhere.

How would it work with the angle connections, since you have to miter the ends? It's not just cutting straight, as the profiles would be too short.

Do you mean any of these images?

In both images, it looks like you could insert perpendicularly cut profiles far enough to lock them with screws or cut more tailored to the coupling to get the profile in a little further.

I understood that a prototype was to be built to test the construction and that the same cut profiles were to be used for welding, which will not work, as there will be a lack of material in the angles.

My guess is that the two connections above are intended for aluminum profiles. Is it aluminum profiles you plan to use?

I’ll have to live with having the connections permanently mounted and not being able to replace them with welds. I was planning to use steel profiles, but if that doesn’t work, I might have to consider aluminum profiles instead. There are 4 photo galleries with examples of usage. Unfortunately, all the images are stamp-sized and only show round tubes. It's hard to determine which metal it is, but I guess some of the tubes are made of steel.

I was planning to attach the construction to a concrete floor, but the feet for square tubes lack screw holes, which the feet for round tubes seem to have:

Therefore, I'm considering cutting open the ends of the square tubes at the corners, heating them with a blowtorch, folding out the 4 sides into feet, and drilling screw holes.

What you're looking for falls under "pipe connector for square pipes," depending on what you're seeking.

JK rostfritt manufactures parts, I can't remember what they have in their range.

An alternative is to visit a local welding company, which we do if we don't have time to weld our own connectors/couplings.

Best regards, P-A

I just realized that for my canopy truck, I have angles for 25•25 mm pipes, I can try to find out where they get theirs from, they're probably welded to order.

I have looked at JK Rostfritt but haven't found what I'm looking for, such as a fitting for a through pipe and one or two right-angled connecting pipes. Moreover, their online store seems to leave much to be desired; first, you have to choose between "PRODUKTER 1", "PRODUKTER 2", "PRODUKTER 3", and "PRODUKTER 4". If you go into the latter, you have to choose between "Category 1", "Category 2", "Category 3", "Category 4", and "Uterum / Carport". However, this one seems to fit my intended square tubes, although unnecessarily expensive in stainless steel:

Found another online shop that has the same ones but more expensive and with higher VAT (perhaps because they sell from the Netherlands or Belgium). At least they have pictures of the connectors with tubes:
