Hello. I have a small question.
I have a cold garage where I'm having issues with condensation on the ceiling. There were only rafters with a metal roof, so I added a condensation barrier. I have now noticed that almost as much condensation forms on the underside of the barrier. What I think became the problem is that I placed the barrier between the rafters and the metal, so the cold from the metal causes the condensation to settle on the barrier.
Do you think I could lift the metal, add battens, and then put back the metal to create a gap, or should I scrap the barrier and go for rough boards?

It is during weather changes that condensation occurs. I have observed that the condensation hangs where the valleys on the metal sheet are. That is where the sheet is in contact with the fabric. Therefore, I'm considering installing battens...
Yes, there is. It was the first thing I did when I moved here. This summer, I installed kondensväv because the vents were not enough. The idea was that the condensation would settle between the metal sheet and the väv, and then be ventilated out through natural ventilation. (The roof angle is very small)
