Concrete wall look on cinder block wall! HOW???
Interior design + construction technology... => Concrete wall look!
The circumstances:
Attic apartment with a lightweight concrete block wall. In this wall, "floating" steel steps will be embedded to become stairs up to the sleeping loft. I want the wall to look like a massive cast concrete wall. Regular plaster looks like a plastered brick wall, so that's not an option. It should look like a molded concrete wall, possibly polished. I don't think the floor structure can handle the weight of casting a completely solid concrete wall (i.e., removing the lightweight concrete blocks and then casting in pure concrete). See the image for what I am striving for (but without the seams and holes):

Or alternatively, the molded expression:

My ideas are as follows:
A. Can you plaster the lightweight blocks with a cement/concrete mixture about 5-10mm or alternatively spatula a plastered wall with "cement filler" to get a concrete look? Is there any concrete-like filler?
Will it hold?
B. Perhaps you can nail up chicken wire as reinforcement on the blocks and pour a thin layer (4-5cm) of concrete over the lightweight concrete block wall? Will it come off the wall later? Is it too thin?
C. Another solution?

Really nice pictures in any case.
If you can imagine joints similar to those in the pictures, you could cast flat slabs of concrete to mount. I have cast 16 mm thick kitchen slabs that have achieved an appearance close to the upper picture.

You can polish with Cementbruk A and then only steel trowel to get the concrete look, but it won't be as mottled as I think you want it.
Instead, you can look up Marmorinospackel. Google it and check here for example (not exactly as you want it but demonstrates the method): http://www.minhembio.com/m%C3%A5laren/278211/
Properly executed, you can get a really nice concrete look with it.
