Hello.

The load-bearing beams visible holding up the floor, which one looks up at from below, have moreall fittings 'embedded' that support the trays. In other words, no screw or nail heads are visible in the load-bearing beams. If the boards come loose and bend like bananas with mineral wool peeking out of all the boards in the floor down towards the damp ground foundation, can a small carpentry company fix this? Can you nail into these thin boards that have bent up with mineral wool - there seems to be nothing to nail into at first glance.

In the photo, you can see the outer part of the load-bearing beam with metal fittings that hang the beam in the floor. Photo taken under the house.

No company takes 'small jobs.'

Grateful for how I can fix this with simple nailing or if a bigger company is needed?

Thanks.

Should be fine to push up the blindbottenskivorna a bit and then screw down a wooden strip to fix them. You probably don't need either a big or small company for that. (y)
