We have a concrete-cast entrance to our house (under a roof), consisting of steps and a slab with some seating space (a total of 15 square meters). It has remained completely untreated since the casting. I'm considering how we should proceed to finalize it.

We have light gray (concrete) pavers adjacent to the entrance, so the color of the concrete fits well, and we actually like the concrete, as it suits the house. Is there a way to treat the existing concrete without making it slippery in the winter? Ideally, we don't want to install tiles, nor do we want to spend on slate or similar materials.

I think we would prefer to polish this rough concrete somehow. How do we do that?

The house is from the 1950s (yellow brick, white windows, and black metal details).

We plan to sell the house in 1-2 years and don't want to spend too much money and time on this.

Grateful for tips and suggestions! Attaching a picture of what it looked like during the work process...

Lay concrete pavers if there is enough height? Otherwise, keep the surface as it is. If you polish the concrete, I believe it will become hatter than today.
