Hello!

I'm designing a 25 sqm allotment cottage that will function as a miniature summer house where we will spend a lot of time during the summer months, but probably very little during the winter months.

So far, I have designed a vapor-tight solution where the wall from inside to outside looks as follows:

12 mm plywood
45 mm studs/insulation
Vapor barrier
120 mm studs/insulation
Windproofing paper
22 mm vertical battens
22 mm nail battens
22 mm cladding

I have read a little about diffusion-open walls but have no personal experience. How would the wall change if one chooses such a solution and what are the advantages/disadvantages? I want to have plywood as the interior surface. Does a diffusion-open solution work in that case or is there a risk that the plywood will be affected?
