Hello,
I spilled an entire bottle of cod liver oil on the cement floor in our garage. It does not smell good and it looks unsightly with a large stain on the floor. We store food and other things that we don't want to smell like old cod. The garage is used as a regular room and not as a garage, otherwise, it wouldn't be a problem.
Does anyone know how we can remove:
1. The smell (without spraying perfume)
2. The stain on the floor
Very grateful for any answers.

Put out something that absorbs the oil, like cat litter.
The problem is probably that the oil has been absorbed into the concrete.
Solvents might help? Try acetone or thinner.
If that doesn't help, unfortunately, chipping is the only option left.
