I am in the process of building a built-in wardrobe.
For this, I have had to modify/remove some previous walls. The wardrobe will be placed in an alcove according to the sketch.
Since the space is limited and drawers and such need to fit, I don't want to first create an interior wall with plasterboard and then build wardrobe walls with suitable wood-based material. I want the interior walls of the wardrobe space to become the wardrobe walls.
What material would you choose to put up on the wall studs?
The walls can either be wallpapered (the wardrobe depth is not more than one wallpaper width) or painted.

What have you planned for wardrobe interior?
If you use basket racks and/or wall rails with brackets, you don't need wardrobe walls, just regular walls are enough.
I have built six wardrobes where we have basket racks, wall rails with brackets, on the brackets we have, among other things, wire shelving, wire baskets, hangers for clothes rods.

Wall rails and such, my wife finds beautiful enough. Don't ask me why. The idea is about 3 shelves that can be moved if needed and beneath them drawers and a pants hanger (which is one of the main reasons the space is critical).

In four of our wardrobes, we have a top track up at the ceiling, directly under the ceiling molding. Hanging from that top track are hanging rails.
In one, we have wall rails instead of a top track.
In one, we only have frame system so far.
The walls are built with studs-OSB-gypsum.

If you have determined exactly where the wall rails should be, you can use extra studs there.
Or
If you have decided to have a hanging list, you can place noggings at the height the hanging list should hang on, as well as at another height.
This way, it is enough with a stud & a single layer of gypsum to save 12-15mm per wall.
Or you can go with stud-OSB-renovation gypsum, this way you save 6mm per wall but can still screw anywhere you want.
A third option is to "recess" the OSB between the studs. I did this on a wall that contains two closets.
I built a wall that couldn't be thicker than 70-75mm. The top and bottom plates I used were 45*45, standing studs 45*70 (under the rafters). Against the 45 sides between the studs, I set battens 25*36. I cut the OSB so that it fit between the studs and screwed them into the battens. On top of the studs and OSB, I placed the gypsum boards. In this way, the wall became approximately 13+45+13mm thick but was still stable enough to hang things on.
