Hello to all builders!
I have a balcony on top of a roof on my house. I was thinking of replacing the railing and decking. What was there wasn't very stable. It was attached with nails right through the seam. I don't think it sounds right to nail there!
I've heard that there are clamps you can attach to the seam and then build onto them! Does anyone know or have other ideas? The balcony is 6 x 3 meters. I was also thinking of putting a roof over it. So it should be secured! I don't want to make holes in the sheet metal.

There are "klämmor" as you call them available for purchase at lindab. They are usually used for roof ladders, snow guards, and similar roof safety features but can certainly be used to attach other things.

You should definitely not nail into the sheet metal.

That could work! If no one else has any ideas, I'll go with it!
