We are in the process of renovating the house and have ripped out the entire lower floor. We are going to paint the walls in some shade of gray or beige, which hasn't been decided yet, and the ceilings white. We are having a hard time deciding which crown molding to choose or if we should even skip the crown molding altogether, so we are looking for some inspiration. It would be great if you could share pictures of how you've done it in your home and which crown molding you chose. Also, solutions without crown molding would be appreciated.

Of course, no cornice. Fill the gap between the ceiling and wall with strips and paint a snobbkant.

I think it depends on the overall style of the house. Turn-of-the-century house or new functionalism, i.e., anything from some form of allmogelist to going without as @falkn suggests.

Can add:
- It's about a townhouse from '83. We will renovate the entire house eventually.
-The interior ceiling is made of panels. So unfortunately not a smooth plaster ceiling.
