I am expanding the house's basement floor which will now mostly be free. The foundation is below ground on both short sides, and about 1 meter high and 3 meters long section (out of a total of 4 meters) will be below ground level on the short sides. The rest is above ground, as is of course the residential floor above which I am also expanding.

The extension of the basement floor will be furnished living space, the foundation is insulated. The rest of the house is old and probably doesn't have the best insulation, the basement is built with hollow blocks and the rest is a regular wooden house.

What do you suggest would be the best solution for the new walls in the basement floor considering living comfort? Leca with insulation on the inside, Leca blocks with built-in insulation, build up to full height or stop at the height above ground and then build a wood frame with insulation to full floor height on the basement floor?
