I have acquired a brad nailer (18 G) and compressor in preparation for the upcoming molding installation on the lower floor. The first step will be to install the baseboard/skirting in the hallway and guest room. It is a regular white-painted wooden baseboard, 12 mm thick. The walls in the guest room consist of single drywall with a stud behind. In the hallway, it is single drywall with OSB and a stud behind.

What length of T-brads should I choose?

I'm in the same situation as you :)

Purchased an 18g brad nailer and have a bunch of trim, casing, and baseboard that needs to be nailed in place. I chose 38mm brads, should work fine for you too (12+13+11mm)? 25mm was the shorter option where I shopped, and they felt too short.

Spontaneously, 38 mm feels quite short as well. When it comes to regular nails, you even dimension so that 2/3 of the nail length goes into something solid behind what you're nailing. Even if that principle probably isn't applicable in this case, it seems like 50 mm is the minimum. But apparently, 40 mm is common. 38 mm surely works fine if there's something hard like OSB behind the drywall, but otherwise?

I have only managed to put up one trim around a window, but it seems to sit nicely on the spånvägg.

I used 40mm and a dyckertpistol.
Moldings and trims are firmly attached.
I have plasterboard + chipboard everywhere on the walls.
