Hello!

I need to seal the gaps between the exterior walls in blåbetong and the foundation slab in our 70s split-level house. Later, it might be necessary to install a passive or active ventilated floor like blå Platon. In that case, the same gap should also be sealed with butyl tape. Which sealing compound can I use to avoid a butyl-unfriendly compound?

There isn't any visible crack in most places, but I thought of sealing it anyway. Is a backing rod and a concave joint with underlying primer really necessary for a good result, or might a bead of sealant suffice?

It might seem smart to lay a butyl tape directly to get it done, but it doesn't cure, and the kids play with floorball sticks in one of the rooms, so besides the cost, it might not be very durable, I'm afraid, or?

So my home-building friends, can you help me with the choice of sealant and thoughts? I am stuck. Thanks in advance!
