What should one consider when choosing a structural engineer? I understand that there is currently no certification for structural engineers, but that it's smart to choose one affiliated with SBR. Is this correct?
What are the responsibilities and obligations for both parties otherwise? Are there any insurances or guarantees I should require from the structural engineer's side? What happens if the construction is completely wrong and has problems later?
This concerns a two-story villa built in stone.
