Hello
I am going to glue together planks with battens that will function as simple trusses in a greenhouse/sunroom, about 4 meters long.
Which glue should I choose?
If I understand correctly, PU is preferable, but 1 or 2-component?
I understand that 1-component is simpler and easier to find, but does it work with regard to strength?
These finished battens will also be charred on the surface (shou sugi ban) so can I do that after gluing or should I char first and then glue? (Obviously not charring the glue surface)
