Hello!

I have a space in the basement where some plaster has been knocked off, and I was thinking of fixing it. However, I'm wondering how I can match the existing thickness of the plaster in a good way?

I'm thinking of using guide rails in battens, but maybe that doesn't match the measurements I need, or how is it done?

Exists also in 6mm. Aren't any of these enough? Sometimes wood is used, like battens in suitable thickness which are removed before it hardens.
yeah, but I'm thinking don't the screed strips I put up have to match the existing plaster and its thickness?
