Hi, I need to fill in a bit on a casting I did over an old concrete base where I'm going to build with a lecablock to then place windows+beam on it. Our old mason (whom I fully trust for good reasons) said you could coat leca with Cement Mortar A if you didn't have rödgrund, basically the same thing. I don't want to buy a bag of rödgrund for 1.5 lecablocks.

Can I also build these 1.5 blocks on the concrete with the cement mortar?

It would be nice to avoid buying/mixing more than just cement mortar. I'll plaster in the spring with B-mortar which will be needed for something else then.

The picture shows the base during casting. The studs around the current door opening will of course be cut.

Concrete footing being poured next to a wooden doorway, with a gray concrete block positioned nearby on the left side.

By then, I had kept going.

My bricklayer says the same thing. Use A-bruk you.

It works well with A-bruk for the small one

Yes, that's how it will be!
