Hello. Planning to tear down a wall to create a larger room. The floor and ceiling will therefore need renovation. Today, there's a classic 80s ceiling, as per the picture. The question is whether you can screw drywall directly into these or if you need to tear down and space new ones? Or lay spacing directly against the current ceiling? Does renovation drywall work for the ceiling, or do you have to use 13mm?
