Do you install ceiling gypsum without spackling between the edges?... it is beveled all around... What size is "best"? They come in 60*120 and 60*240??... anything to consider when installing these?... what should be the width of the battens above? Thanks in advance / M
Now let's see... The chamfering is meant to make room for the filler... so you apply filler all over if it's a traditional filler depth...
I also usually chamfer the short sides to make room for the filler...
Then, regarding 60x 120 or 60x 240... Yes, that's a matter of taste.... Whichever you prefer to work with, you know....
Do you have c/c 30 in batten distance with these planks...

but isn't the chamfering the "feature" of ceiling gypsum??...they are chamfered on all 4 sides. On Beijer's website it says for ceiling gypsum: "Chamfered edges for ceiling installation without joint compound"???.....

no you should not plaster this.
it's called ceiling plank otherwise
only plaster the screw heads.
then paint
gles 28x70
set 300 c/c
taken 240 length. but how long is the room?
