Ceiling drywall for smooth ceiling
Planning to install drywall on the ceiling. I've looked at instructions, but what's the best/easiest method?
I've installed battens 28*70 cc30. The ceiling should be smooth and I have drywall from Byggmax to choose from for practical reasons.
Should I choose ceiling drywall with beveled edges 600*1200?
Or is it smarter to opt for larger wall drywall 900*2500 or 1200*2400 to have a little less to plaster? Are there any drawbacks?
Should the panels be installed parallel to the battens or perpendicular?

Regular drywall panels are preferable, ideally 1200 if you can install them. The best option is with a tapered edge all around, but maybe byggmax doesn't offer those. Install along the studs, with the short edges staggered.

Should you bevel the short sides so there is a seam between the short sides that are against each other?
Okay, then it gets worse. I'm going to set up a room at home, and then it works to use boards that are 300cm long so they fit perfectly between the walls, isn't that something that works for you?
But yes, now that you mention it, it will fit exactly with a 2500 long panel, so then it's no problemStefan N said:
