I'm planning to build a larger deck and am wondering if it's possible to have a center-to-center distance between the deck posts of 2.2m to achieve a nice and even distribution. I'm building around a corner of the house. This way, I'll have 3 posts for the roof, which measures 5m in length, and then an additional 2 low posts for the sun deck.
Does anyone have suggestions for center-to-center spacing for a deck with the modern(?) cross railing??
