Is it common for some parts of a sealing strip to take longer to expand?
I installed it around a door this morning and when I checked just now, it looks a bit like a roller coaster where some parts have expanded as they should while others have only expanded a few millimeters.
It's from the same roll too.
Is it just a matter of waiting or is there something wrong with the sealing strip?

Okay, it's just strange that it hasn't expanded properly everywhere even though it's been 20 degrees outside today, and the door is facing the sunny side for a few hours. If I'm going to try using a hairdryer, can I do it a couple of days after installation since I won't be home until later in the week?
Can't really answer that, if it helps, just something to consider as it should be warm and not too cold to expand,
I read about it in another thread recently where the drevband was praised
Maybe ask in that thread
