I have just cast a new entrance step. Due to difficulties in removing all the air bubbles (because of the design of the step), I want to fill them and get a nice surface. What product should I use for this (filler, thin plaster, or repair mortar?) and what is the minimum recommended thickness? I have looked through some products that specify 0-10 and 0-50 mm in thickness, but how durable will this be (frost damage, etc.)? The step was made with Maxit Finbetong. The surfaces I want to improve are not ones that are walked on.
