Hello!

I need to consult you.
I am going to pour a concrete slab for a conservatory and I plan to pour the concrete slab (100mm) to the same floor level as inside.
What is the most suitable material to use as a spacer between the concrete slab and the wall? As you can see in the picture?
I was thinking of screwing on a fiber cement board, or is it enough to just place a fiber cloth in between?

I had put about 1cm of cellplast. I would not want the plates to be connected to better handle a slight settlement.

Yes, exactly. You're on the same track as me, but the idea has never been to cast the slab together with the house but to achieve a smooth separation while protecting the wooden construction of the house. The sunroom slab will likely have a fairly sharp boundary/seam even if I lay geotextile?

Not sure if a geotextile is thick enough? Well, it also depends on how smooth the existing slab finish is. I suppose the risk of the tiles getting caught increases the less distance there is between the tiles.
