Have renovated some old windows that will be used for a greenhouse. I used Casco's window putty on a cartridge gun, it said 24h drying time but the putty itself is still quite "kalddigt". It said it was paintable after 24h??..is it supposed to be like that?

Linseed oil putty.. painting with linseed oil = works anytime.
Painting with other paint = wait until the putty has formed a "skin"
Linseed oil putty will be "soft" for a long time! Up to 1 year.
